The Cloud People acquires Dutch ServiceNow partner Westbury Analytics

The Cloud People continues its fast growth pace with the acquisition of the Dutch ServiceNow specialist partner Westbury Analytics. The goal for the Norwegian IT company is to become the leading ServiceNow partner in Northern Europe.

With the recent acquisition of Swedish Verano Springstep and Danish Syspeople, The Cloud People became the leading and largest ServiceNow specialist in the Nordic region.

«Now we announce the acquisition of the Dutch IT services company Westbury Analytics, and we are entering the Benelux market with some of the most experienced ServiceNow teams in the market. The acquisition of Westbury Analytics paves the way to dominate the North European ServiceNow market by 2023,» says Bjørn Jarl, CEO and chairman of The Cloud People (TCP).

Westbury Analytics and TCP: A fantastic match

Founded in Amsterdam in 1998, Westbury Analytics has grown to become a leading provider of IT performance management solutions for IT Organizations and represents enterprise customers around the globe. In 2016 Westbury Analytics became the global ServiceNow partner dedicated to Now Intelligence professional services. A developer of certified apps (such as KPI Composer) and a provider of full lifecycle services, we enable our customers to rapidly benefit from the value of integrating Now Intelligence technology.

«We are excited to join The Cloud People, not only because of their culture and business model, but also to fully take advantage of the unique ServiceNow opportunity in the Now Intelligence and Creator Workflow area. Westbury’s specific capabilities in analyzing ServiceNow data and designing process improvement solutions are a great match with the already existing seasoned resources of The Cloud People,» says Floris Verschoor, CEO and co-founder of Westbury.

«We are excited about this acquisition. As part of TCP, we can create even greater value for our customers in Benelux. At the same time, our employees get a richer work environment and more opportunities to develop their skills,» continues Wim Jonkers, Regional Manager of The Cloud People Benelux.

The Cloud People has already started recruiting ServiceNow resources to support their growing team in the Benelux region.

Fastest growing ServiceNow specialist

Backed by Norwegian Venture Fund Longship, TCP is on track to reach a turnover of approx 17 million euros this year. That is more than a fourfold increase from 2020. The ambition in 2023 is to reach 50 million euros in revenue. The acquisition of Westbury is an essential contribution to the company's ambitious growth plan.

«TCP has, during the last two years, been growing faster than any other partner in the ServiceNow ecosystem,» says CEO Bjørn Jarl.

Westbury Analytics’ CEO Floris Verschoor also highlights The Cloud People’s innovative delivery model for consultants: Smart Resourcing, as an important reason for joining the team. TCP developed Smart Resourcing to handle the strong demand for consultants around the cloud services of Google and ServiceNow in the best possible way. Smart Resourcing allows customers to access the resources they need – easier, faster, and cheaper – with transparency regarding skills, competence, and price.

«There is a need for a change in the market. Consulting businesses must be transparent, delivering documented capabilities for the right task to the right price. This is the mission of The Cloud People, and we have created a simple business model which attracts both consultants and customers,» says Bjørn Jarl who has experience from the ServiceNow ecosystem since 2011.
