From AI hype to AI accountability

The first wave of enterprise AI was driven by momentum, opportunity, and a sense of urgency. Organizations wanted to learn fast. They wanted to show progress. They wanted to avoid being left behind.

Since then the market has matured.

Leaders are still ambitious about AI, and now they are becoming more realistic about what scale actually requires. They know that enterprise value does not come from adding more disconnected intelligence into the business. It comes from making AI useful, trusted, and controllable inside the workflows that run the organization.

Instead of asking, “Are you using AI?” the better questions are:
